Letter from the DirectorDear Dancing Friends,
Melissa R. Tessier As Sophisticated Productions completes it's thirteenth season I look forward to Sophisticated Productions entering it's fourteenth year. I'm proud to announce this coming dance competition season Sophisticated Productions will now be awarding up to $2,100.00 in CASH at EVERY Regional Dance Competition and over $20,000.00 in Cash and Prizes including Ten $500.00 Cash Scholarships at our National Dance Competition in Wildwood New Jersey - July 20th thru July 26th, 2008. When your dancers compete at Sophisticated Productions Dance Competition it's important for us that everyone experiences a fun, positive and educational dance competition. Dancers receive professional critiques from our panel of judges, experience performing on stage, practice good sportsmanship and most importantly dancers have a greater appreciation for "The Art of Dance." All of us at Sophisticated Productions looks forward to welcoming all of you to Sophisticated Productions Dance Competitions. Letters from our Participants: "The MC is an important part of the competition. As I said 'Being approachable is huge, but then accommodating is without a doubt the best thing you can do for us (teachers).' Thanx! Through a lot of trial and error I have come up with a short list of competitions which I feel meet or exceed my standards. Sophisticated Productions is one of these. I like that it falls in early March for us, it's a friendly, professional atmosphere where my students can put their new numbers out before a well educated group of judges. My hat is off to all involved with your organization and a big Thank You!" "This was our first year attending Sophisticated Productions and it is one of our favorite competitions! It ran on time, the staff was very professional and courteous, and the judging was fair. The best part about the competition was that each dancer received a trophy for every dance they did!
